MISSION STATEMENT

Offal Industries is a semi-anonymous corporate entity that produces cross-media entertainment, literature and art amid the dawn of a machine age gone terribly wrong. We repurpose the creative leftovers, experiments and offcuts of others. We embrace AI and abuse it in order to reveal the aesthetics in its flaws. We delight in written word, synthetic voice and musical adventure. We feast on cultural detritus. We use words like bricolage and detournement. We are Offal.

Daytime Radio for the Post-Truth Dystopia

Offal projects include a mysterious 'audio zine' transmission, assembled from literary leftovers and satirical scraps, set to a soundtrack of ambient, jazz, techno, jungle and electronica. Episodes were distributed by individual request via WhatsApp, but this proved unmanageable and they are now widely available.

It’s Not For Everyone

Offal is also a deeply revered and widely celebrated print publication of literary leftovers, artistic experiments and found fragments.

Offal in Another Dimension

Offal projects have included a live multimedia performance at Manchester’s White Hotel, and an audio installation as part of an Artangel exhibition in Leeds.
